PURPOSE:To print a page number with character string, to easily perform setting work on a print format setting screen, and to automatically execute document print successively extending over plural pages as attaching a consecutive number on the page number with character string. CONSTITUTION:This system is equipped with a means to set and display an arbitrary character string as the page number to be printed, a means to print the page number with character string at a designated print position, a means to increment only the page number (Arabic figure) out of the page numbers with character string at every completion of the print of document data of one page and to set a new page number with character string by combining an original character string with the page number after increment, and a means to repeat such print operation until the print of the final page is completed. |
