摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve detection accuracy and reliability by forming an optical system not so easily spoiled by the eyelashes of an observer. CONSTITUTION:It is so formed that an observation system optical axis L1 and a light receiving system optical axis L2 are not coaxial, and the light receiving system optical axis L2 is provided with an angle of about 5-30 deg. in relation to the observation system optical axis L1 in order to reduce the influence of the eyelashes. The light projected from a light projecting part 1 is reflected by a half mirror 2, and the reflected light proceeds on the observation system optical axis L1 so as to be led to the eye-ball 200 of an observer. The reflected light from the eye-ball 200 proceeds on the light receiving system optical axis L2 so as to be image-focused on the light receiving face of a light receiving part 4 through a light receiving optical system 3. The line-of-sight direction of the observer is then detected in an arithmetic part 5 on the basis of output from the light receiving part 4. |
