摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate machining and assembling while making uniform the detection characteristics of each optoelectric converting element by constituting a light shielding means of grooves extending from the surface of scintillator layer to a semiconductor layer and a light shielding material applied on the side wall face of the groove. CONSTITUTION:A scintillator layer 1 is bonded through transparent adhesive 3 to a semiconductor layer 2 and a light shielding material 4 is applied on the surface of the scintillator layer 1 split by the groove. The light shielding material 4 is an epoxy resin added with white coloring matter, for example, selected from materials in which deterioration of quality due to exposure to X-ray is suppressed. X-ray incident to an X-ray detector 203 transmits through the light shielding material 4 and irradiates the scintillation layer 1 where the X-ray is converted into visible light. Since the visible light thus converted does not enter into external region, i.e., the region of adjacent scintillator layer 1, but enters entirely into a semiconductor layer 2 immediately below, fluctuation between respective photodiodes is eliminated resulting in uniform X-ray detection characteristics.
