<p>PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic shield chamber having a sliding door, which is simple and safe in handling, for insulating external magnetic fields. CONSTITUTION: This electromagnetic shield chamber has four walls, a ceiling and a floor. One of the walls has a door opening. The walls, ceiling and door each has at least conductive material layers 54a, 54b for shielding high-frequency energy from this shield chamber and at least high-permeability material layers 58a, 58b for insulating magnetic fields. At least a wall having the door opening and a slide door is composed of two conductive plates and a high-permeability layer on these plates. The conductive plates of the wall are located leaving sufficient spaces to mutually slide the slide door in the space formed therebetween. The door expands by having contained bags 56a, 56b to mechanically, electrically and magnetically close tightly the door opening.</p> |
