The plug consists of a first metal shell (1) forming a skirt (3) which is formed at one end into a small plate (3) pierced with holes (4). A second metal shell (11) is also formed into a plate (10) with holes (14). An isolating element (5,6) is inserted between the two shells and separates the conducting elements of the plug which pass through it. The plate (3) formed on the first skirt (2) also has a rebate (16) which accepts and surrounds the edge of the other plate (10). The plug is completed by a metal cover (16). ADVANTAGE - Eliminates stray electromagnetic fields emanating from join between two shells in existing designs.
