PURPOSE:To control a copying machine capable of both-side copying to perform rapid both-side copying. CONSTITUTION:Paper where an image is formed on one side is reversed and supplied from an intermediate unit 100 to an image forming device 102 or paper where the image is not formed on either side is supplied from a cassette 101 to the device 102. In the case of copying many sheets of paper, the paper P1 is supplied from the cassette 101 side at the time of starting copying, and next copying is decided after specified cycle time. At such a time, while the paper which can be resupplied immediately from the unit 100 does not exist, the paper is supplied from the cassette 101 continuously and copying is performed. When the paper P1 arrives at the paper resupply point 100a of the unit 100, the paper P1 is resupplied from the unit 100. After the cycle time, the paper is successively resupplied from the unit 100 in the same manner. When there is no paper in the unit 100, thereafter, paper supply is automatically switched to the paper supply from the cassette 101. |
