<p>PURPOSE:To provide a subaqueous cable laying section by which a subaqueous cable is not damaged, deformed, etc., by an external force, such as tension, compressive force, etc. CONSTITUTION:The section is constituted of a protective tube 8 which is laid between an on-water floating facility 1 and water bottom S and provided with a relaxed section 9 of which part is made to float by means of a plurality of distributed buoys 6, subaqueous cable 2 housed in the tube 8 with a gap, and liquid 7 which is put in the tube 8 so as to fill up the gap between the tube 8 and cable 2 and the tube 8 is formed in such a way that the tube 8 can have stronger flexural rigidity, higher allowable tension, and larger allowable minimum bending radius than the cable 2 has and flexibility and the liquid 7 can have a density of 0.8-1.2, and then, the specific gravity of the cable 2 can become 0.8-1.2 times as large as that of the liquid 7.</p> |
