PURPOSE:To provide an image which has no pin-cushion distortions at the upper and lower parts of a screen due to the irregularities of a deflection yoke and an image receiving tube by correcting such distortions in a barrel tendency. CONSTITUTION:On the inner periphery side of the enlarged portion 11A of a coil bobbin 11, the recessed portions 11E are respectively formed at upper and lower positions on a vertical Y-axial line. The respective recessed portions 11E are mounted with auxiliary coils 12, which are formed into individually independent closed circuits by turning a winding twice, e.g., and connecting the ends, via a tape 13. In this way, a current flows through the auxiliary coils 12 with a magnetic field generated by a horizontally deflecting coil 4 and a vertical deflection coil 5, while cancelling a magnetic field which causes screen distortion, to allow the correction of pin-cushion screen distortions which arise at the upper and lower parts of a screen. |
