PURPOSE:To provide a low-power circuit for driving a laser diode, capable of high-speed switching. CONSTITUTION:A laser diode 1 has a cathode connected to ground and an anode connected with a constant-current circuit 30. An npn transistor 27 is connected between the anode and cathode of the laser diode. The npn transistor is driven by a differential connection of npn transistors 21 and 22. |
