VIDEO CONFERENCE SYSTEM USING FREQUENCY MULTIPLEX LAN

PURPOSE:To allow a transmission terminal equipment of the video conference system to designate a receptible terminal equipment optionally and variably. CONSTITUTION:Transmission terminal equipments T1-Tn in the video conference system employing a LAN 2 specifies a reception enable terminal equipment by a reception terminal equipment setting device 15, an identification code of an enable terminal equipment is converted into a signal of an audio sub channel of a base band television (TV) signal by a data converter 16. A video signal and an audio signal are subject to scramble processing by a scrambler 13 and the result is modulated together with a signal of the audio sub channel and sent to a prescribed channel of a LAN by using a modulator 14. A reception terminal equipment receives a signal from a prescribed channel and demodulates it into a TV signal by a demodulator 20 and the signal on the audio sub channel is demodulated into an identification code 17 by using a data demodulator 19. When the identification code 17 of its own terminal equipment is coincident with the received identification code by using a digital comparator 18, the reception TV signal scrambling is released by a descrambler 21 and the result is outputted to a receiver 22. Thus, the reception enable terminal equipment is designated variably freely at the terminal equipment side and the terminal equipment not designated cannot be intercepted.
