IGNITION COIL FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To improve rigidity and prevent magnetic vibration by bonding iron cores with a primary bobbin by press fitting the iron cores in the primary bobbin and boding the iron cores with a case by forming the iron core gap in the case. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil 2 is inserted into a secondary coil 4 and the coils are put in a case 8 formed of synthetic resin. After injecting thermosetting synthetic resin 9 so as to impregnate the coils with the resin 9, the resin 9 is heated and hardened. Then, separated iron cores 7a and 7b are press fitted in the primary bobbin and the iron core 7a and the iron core 7b are bonded with the primary bobbin 1 by adhesive 10. A gap 12 is formed in a case 8 and the iron core 7a and the iron core 7b are bonded with the case 8 by the adhesive 10. Thus, rigidity is improved by fixing the iron cores and the coil and magnetic vibration is prevented.
