<p>PURPOSE:To provide the paper guide mechanism capable of improving transfer efficiency against paper of various thickness with respect to the paper guide mechanism guiding cut paper to a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The paper guide mechanism 10 guiding the paper to the photosensitive drum 110 is provided with a rotating proceeding guide 11, two top and bottom stoppers 12A and 12B restricting the rotational angle of the proceeding guide 11 and an energizing means 13 energizing the proceeding guide 11 toward the photosensitive drum 110. The proceeding guide 11 is constituted of a first guide plate 14 and a second guide plate 15 which is faced to the former and above it with a paper path in between them and having a downstream edge part 15a protruding from it downstream from the first guide plate 14. The proceeding guide 11 is restrained by a stopper 12B in the normal paper processing and is restrained by a stopper 12A until the paper passes through the first plate 14 in processing of a thick paper.</p> |
