PURPOSE:To cope with all the low brightness objects by a switching operation by setting the focus at infinity when a flash is not lighted, and setting it in a position determined by an auto-focus operation when the flash is lighted. CONSTITUTION:A switch S3 being the first operation member is operated, and a low brightness subject photographing mode is set. When a distant low brightness subject such as a skyrocket is photographed, a photographer turns off both switches S4 and S5 being the second operation members, and sets a flash 9 so as not to emit light. Thereby, wasteful light emitting can be avoided, and in that case, a focus condition suitable for the distant subject can be set by fixing the focus lens to the focus at infinity. On the other hand, when a near low brightness subject such as a hand holding firework is photographed, the switch S5 is turned on, and the flash 9 is set so as to emit light. Then, a focus is brought on a point determined by an auto-focus operation. |
