PURPOSE:To enlarge an effective generation area ratio by not forming at least one part of an insulating layer on a conductive substrate from the beginning or removing it after overall forming while making a first electrode to contact with a conductive substrate in said part. CONSTITUTION:After overall forming insulators 2 on a stainless substitute 1, an open groove is provided near the end of a substitute 1 by a laser scribe so as to expose a conductive substitute 1. Later, a first electrode 3, a non-single- crystal semiconductor layer 4 and a second electrode 5 are formed while performing a laser scribe on the respective stages for patterning in order to obtain a thin film solar cell. Then, a series connection is performed by turns from the second electrode 5 of the last end part of a first solar generation unit to a first electrode 3, further to a second electrode 5 and such of the next stage unit for being connected to the conductive substitute 1 in the connection part 6 of the first electrode 3 of the last unit. Accordingly, power can be taken out from the second electrode 5 and the conductive substrate 1 thus allowing to take a large effective generation area ratio. |
