SCANNING METHOD OF PLURALITY OF BAR-CODE LABELS

PURPOSE: To provide an improved scanning system which can scan a plurality of bar code labels within the single scanning operation period of an optical scanner. CONSTITUTION: A method for processing the reading value of a bar code tag or label when a bar code label scanner 22 reads a plurality of still bar code label tags 40 in the visual field of the scanner 22 and generates tag displays at every tag. The method includes a step for storing first tag displays in a first storing unit an another step for generating a count value indicating the number of reading times performed on the same tag by comparing each continuous tag display with the first tag display and, in the method, the bar code tags are processed in the shortest time by using the number of reading times for processing the bar code tag labels.
