PURPOSE:To simplify the correction work and to shorten the correction time as well, by constituting the device so that a user only touches directly on the screen of a display device corresponding to a correct present place when the user corrects the present place, a present place display is moved to a position touched directly on the screen and the present place is corrected. CONSTITUTION:In the state that the present place necessary for correction is displayed by a mark M on a map screen, when the user touches directly on the display screen of a CRT 11 corresponding to the correct present place, a cross is displayed on the touched position of the screen of the CRT 11 and when a mechanical switch (set) 12i is depressed, an operation guidance message (set present place correction) is displayed in the bottom part. Then, when the mechanical switch (set) 12i is depressed, the mark M is moved to the cross point of the cross and the operation guidance message of (present place is set) is displayed on the bottom part of the picture. In such a manner, since the present place is corrected, correction is operatable even when the vehicle is running. |
