PURPOSE:To provide a coaxial connector without resistance against insertion and withdrawal, which can be securely connected with ease. CONSTITUTION:A connector 10 on a male side is formed into an approximately columnar shape by disposing, an outside contact 13 coaxially around an inside contact 11 via an insulator 12. A semi-columnar projection 10a is formed at the end of the connector 10 on the male side. In a connector 14 on a female side, an outside contact 17 is coaxially disposed in close contact around an inside contact 15 having almost the same diameter and size via an insulator 16, and a semi-columnar projection 14a is formed at the end thereof. An annular spring 18 is provided around the outside contact 17 of the connector 14 on a female side. The annular spring 18 is made of a metal tube material having such a diameter as to allow free insertion of the connector 10 on a male side, and provided with spring force in the circumferential direction by disposing a split 18a in the axial direction. A front plate H1 of a housing H where the connectors are disposed is moved according to tilting motion of the connector 10 on the male side so as to be locked.
