<p>PURPOSE:To improve various characteristics (the angle of visibility, cell gap control, and the like) of a color LCD panel by specifying the thickness of a color filter layer. CONSTITUTION:A pigment dispersed color filter 10 is formed of a composition composed of a pigment, acrylic resin, a photo-polymerized monomer and a photo-polymerization starting agent. The thickness of a color filter layer 10 is set to 0.8-1.4mum, and its composition is desirably set to 40-50% of pigment, 25-40% of acrylic resin and 15-20% of photo-polymerized monomer. In the process of dispersing the pigment in the acrylic resin, the process of reducing the acrylic resin part and adding the photo-polymerized monomer, heretofore added in the following process, at the time of dispersion in order to make up for the reduced resin part is thereby adopted to obtain the desirable dispersed state. The sensitivity required in a manufacturing process is also maintaned, and the content of the pigment in a photosensitive colored resin composition can be increased.</p> |
