PURPOSE:To know the change of the data on a substitute memory by writing the unwritten data into a trace memory when the data are written into the substitute memory in regard of a real-time tracer which is built in an in-circuit emulator. CONSTITUTION:A real-time tracer consists of a pseudo read strobe signal generating circuit 21, a substitute memory 8, a latch circuit 25, and a trace memory 14. Then, the tracer generates a pseudo read strobe signal before a write strobe signal is outputted from a microcomputer and when the write status is inputted from the microcomputer. Then, the unwritten data are read out of the memory 8 and latched and then stored in the memory 14. Thus, the change of data on the memory 8 can be known based on storage contents of the memory 14. |
