PURPOSE:To accurately connect a metal back layer and a conductive film by prefixing an electrode lead-out body to a faceplate. CONSTITUTION:A collection body 9 consisting of the conductive frit glass is formed like a belt on the adjacent part of a prearranged sealing area which is opposed to a interior funnel aperture end face 4c of a faceplate 1 and the fluorescent film 2 is formed so that at least part of the collection body 9 can be exposed. Then a metal back layer 3 is formed on it so that it can electrically be connected to the collection body 9. An electrode lead-out body 8 is arranged on the collection body 9, fixed using a frit glass 10, and electrically connected to a conductive film 6. |
