PURPOSE:To simplify a peripheral circuit and the procedure which are needed for a window control function. CONSTITUTION:An evaluation-only instruction is given to an emulation microcomputer 21 in addition to the instruction set of a microcomputer used in a target system. Then, the evaluation-only instruction executing cycle signal that becomes active only in the cycle when the evaluation-only instruction is carried out is outputted to the outside. Thus, a map switching circuit 6 switches the address maps based on the outputted executing cycle signal. As a result, the peripheral circuit needed for a window control function is simplified. |
