The joint comprises two internally cogged dishes (3,4) displaceable to a restricted amount about a common axis and each having inside a moulded concentric cylinder ring (15,16) which rises up from the dish base (3a, 4a) and supports the inner gear rim (12,13). The cylinder ring forms with the circumferential dish edge (3b,4b) the cable channel (23,5a,6a) which is connected to the tubular extension arms (5,6). Each extension arm has a moulded anti-rotation projection which interacts with force locking and/or keyed engagement with the fitted support arm section. USE/ADVANTAGE - Cables are stored secure against damage yet have sufficient mobility when adjusting support arm.
