<p>There are described processes for the removal and recovery of polar oxygenated organic compounds (e.g. 2,3-dihydroxy-1-chlorocyclohexa-4,6-diene) from aqueous solutions. Such processes comprise sorption/leaching processes whereby polar oxygenated uncharged organic compounds can be removed from aqueous solution and recovered from the sorbent.</p> |
