METHOD AND INSTALLATION FOR EVALUATING THE STICKING CHARACTER OF FIBROUS PLANT MATERIAL SUCH AS COTTONS AND THE USE OF THIS METHOD AND THIS INSTALLATION ON BEHALF OF THE INTERNATIONAL CENTRE FOR AGRONOMIC RESEARCH FOR THE CIRAD DEVELOPMENT In accordance with the invention, a sample (3) of the fibrous material is prepared and is applied by means of a pressing and heating unit (8) to an aluminium plate and, after removal of the fibres and drying of the honey-dew spots on the plate, an automatic count is carried out in front of a station (14). The invention applies particularly to the automation of installations for the treatment of contaminated cottons. Figure 1.
