The vehicle drive arrangement has the shaft (20) of the gear drive inclined in relation to the drive shaft (10) of the main drive. The driven gear (38) and the input gear (36) mesh directly with each other. The drive shaft (10) together with the input gear and the coupling are mounted on a coupling housing (18) which is separate from and detachable from the main drive housing (12). USE/ADVANTAGE - Compact construction of vehicle four-wheel drive unit giving relatively high ground clearance allows simple adjustment of transmission ratio without having to dismantle main drive.
