In the electronic relay, the connection of a low voltage (U) activates a photo-diode in the relay (1). An additional phototransistor triggers the switching operation of the trial control. In one embodiment, the coupling of several relays occurs over an optical patch (2). The coupling (for each) comprises a photodiode and a phototransistor of the respective adjacent relay. ADVANTAGE - By availability of two different input/out switching possibilities enables input/output switching of several load current circuits.
