The invention relates to a pressurised tennis ball with a wall consisting essentially of a natural rubber mix. In order to reduce the natural diffusion of the pressurised air inside the ball from the raw ball core, its wall has a thin diffusion blocking layer of a plastic or rubber, the permeability of which to N2 or O2 is lower than that of the natural rubber mixture of the wall.
