The tool head (10) receives a workpiece tube along the axis (31). Rotating disc cutters (18) are mounted on arms (17) which are pivotally attached to a first ring gear (12). The arms are pivoted about pins (19) by a cam connection (21) having a part fixed to a second ring gear (13). The ring gears are mounted by bearings (14) on the tool head. A differential drive is provided fro the two ring gears to cause limited relative rotation therebetween to pivot the arms. The differential drive comprises an electric motor, differential gearbox and drive shafts for each ring gear. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple system for moving cutters to different dia. tube without need to disassemble tool head.
