A current detector comprises a primary current transformer (21) having a core made of silicon steel sheets and permalloy sheets with each other overlapped configuration, secondary current transformers (22) and (23) having cores made of silicon steel sheets and permalloy sheets, respectively, has a linearity of current transformation at any current range, and thereby current detection errors becomes small.
