The fibres are inserted at one side of or between two fabrics. They are bonded into place to form stitches, and a bulked pile layer, without penetrating through the outer surface. Where they are between two fabrics, they bond the fabric layers together. The fibres are bond nonwovens or pile nonwoven warp knits at the stitch sides or pile sides. Yarn layers or films are placed between the fabrics to be bonded together, and are bonded into place by locking fibres. The fibres are locked into place on the side apart from the piles or in the pile side. The locking fibres are pref. fed separately by darning and delivery systems. USE/ADVANTAGE - The mfr. is for the prodn. of bulked and pref. pile nonwoven warp knits for garments, home furnishings and industrial applications. It forms a pile layer on side(s) of the material.
