Method of producing three=dimensional object free from distortion - by successively photo curing layers of liquid or powder under control of computer which differentiates between each core and outer skin

A three-dimensional object is produced by successively solidifying a series of layers of a liq. or powder by elecromagnetic irradiation. Each layer is broken down into an inner core part and an outer cover part, and the irradiation is controlled so that the core and cover parts have different properties. The method uses the principle in stereolithography i.e., where successive layers of polymer are photo-cured e.g, by laser to form a laminar shape. ADVANTAGE - The procedure minimises any distortion of the object produced. It produces high grade surface finishes to close tolerances. It minimises consumption of material and time required.
