A golf putter 10 has a shaft (12) attached to a head (11) substantially centrally and inclined towards the heel (21) at an angle of about 10 DEG to the vertical. The head (11) is formed of a body part (13) providing a bottom surface (15) and a blade (14) providing a front surface (16), the surfaces (15, 16) being mutually perpendicular. The blade (14) is removably secured to the body part (13) by screws (18) which pass through the body part (13) and into respective ones of several tapped holes (20) in the blade (14) so that the position of the blade (14) can be adjusted longitudinally of the body part (13). Two protrusions (17) with convexly curved fore and aft profiles are provided on the bottom surface (15) on opposed sides of the fore and aft extending centre line (C). <IMAGE> |
