Stereoscopic optical apparatus 22 for use with television and video recording equipment, which stereoscopic optical apparatus 22 comprises a housing 24 which is constructed to exclude spurious light sources, and four separate optical devices 26, 28, 30, 32 which are each provided in the housing 24 and which each provides a reflecting surface, the four separate optical devices 26, 28, 30, 32 being arranged in pairs 26, 28 and 30, 32 to form two periscope-type devices, and top portion 28, 32 of each periscope-type device being turned through 90 DEG with respect to a conventional periscope device in order to rotate an image through 90 DEG during use of the stereoscopic optical apparatus 22. <IMAGE> |
