<p>PURPOSE:To insert a wire harness smoothly through a protective pipe with sharp bent angle and many curved portions without applying forcible force to increase the fitting efficiency by pushing the wire harness from one end of the protective pipe while sucking the wire harness by negative pressure from the other side of it. CONSTITUTION:To insert a wire harness 3 through a protective pipe 6 in bent form to be installed on a vehicle body, first the top end of the wire harness 3 is inserted into one end of the protective pipe 6, and then vacuum-sucked from the other side of the protective pipe 6 to pull the wire harness 3 forward by a suction force. In this case, though the suction force becomes larger as the vacuum becomes higher, the wire harness 3 can be inserted into the protective pipe 6 even if the vacuum is not so high if the harness 3 is assisted to be fed into the protective pipe 6 from the rear side of it. Thus the wire harness 3 can be inserted through the protective pipe 6 smoothly without being caught by the bent protective pipe 6.</p> |
