<p>PURPOSE:To obtain tremendous favorable effects upon the volume reduction process of waste plastics from a viewpoint of reducing the abrasion and wear of machinery due to the entrainment of foreign mattor significantly by moving backward a taper rotor support table, if the load current of a drive motor exceeds a set current value. CONSTITUTION:If the load current of a drive motor M exceeds a set value, a command is given to a taper rotor support table 11 and the control systems 16, 17 of a clamping device 13 using a taper rotor forward/backward motion control device 15. Thus, a clamp on the taper rotor support table 11 is released to move the support table 11 backward, and consequently, to widen a gap at a thermal volume reduction opening 1-1. If the gap of this thermal volume reduction opening 1-1 is wide, foreign matter is spontaneously removed by pushing of a following reduced volume product due to the decreased contact pressure of the foreign matter. As a result, an abnormal condition that waste plastics become overmolten due to the rising of friction heat in the thermal volume reduction opening 1-1, is avoided. Therefore, it is possible to perform the volume reduction process continuously without operational suspension.</p> |
