PURPOSE:To intermittently dust the powder and granular material in an appropriate manner over the specified range over a strip-shaped member to be carried by a conveyor, and to collect the excessive powder and granular material to a supplying device while the powder and granular material being continuously supplied to a dusting tube by the supplying device. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of falling holes 59 to fall the powder and granular material 15 to be supplied from a supplying device into a rotary drum 27 through a dusting tube 26 are provided at the specified space in the circumferential direction to the rotary drum 27 which is rotated about the horizontal axis. Projections 61 to lift the excessive powder and granular material 15 in the rotational direction following the rotation of the rotary drum 27 are provided on the internal circumference of the rotary drum 27, and guide plates 67 to guide the powder and granular material 15 to be lifted by these projections 61 to the upper side of the rotational direction are provided along the rotatinal locus of the projections 61. A collecting passage 28 to collect the powder and granular material 15 falling from the upper end of the guide plates 67 in the supplying device is provided. |
