PURPOSE:To provide an injection molding apparatus for transfer molding capable of effecting positional fixation readily correctly without causing positional dislocation of a transfer film even in the case of forming transfer parts on the outside of a box-shaped molding. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus includes a cavity mold 20, a core mold 30 and a transfer film setting device 40, and the transfer film setting device 40 advances in a manner positioning and holding a transfer film on its front surface through penetration of engaging pins 45 and vacuum suction, and then acts to bring the transfer film into close contact with the cavity surface 21a and, after vacuum suction the transfer film onto the cavity surface 21a and cavity outer periphery by taking the place of such vacuum suction, it withdraws and moves out therefrom.
