Method for the fabrication of rustic-type ceramic tiles, of the type which provides, for each pressing cycle, the filling of a moulding cavity with a mass of powder material, and the compacting of said mass between two pads, vertically aligned, intended to mint the respective placement and display surfaces of the tile, comprising the phases of varying at least partially, during a pressing cycle, the superficial configuration of the active surface of the pad designed to mint the display face of the tiles, and modifying in a random manner said superficial configuration during the subsequent pressing cycles. The layout comprises a stamp composed of a rim, inside which travels a lower pad able to define with the rim the moulding cavity, and an upper pad integrated with the movable cross arm of the press, said lower and upper pads being equally able to mint the front or the back part of the tile, and the pad intended to mint the display portion of the tile is comprised of an elastomer membrane which encloses a liquid-containing chamber behind it.

|
