PURPOSE:To obtain whisky free from immature taste, being mild, readily drinkable and having smooth palate and clean flavor by modifying flavor of whisky. CONSTITUTION:This method for modifying flavor of whisky is characterized by subjecting whisky to contact treatment with charcoal and further preferably, by subjecting whisky to contact treatment with a charcoal having 10-1000OMEGA electric resistance. Whisky further improved in flavor is obtained also by further storing (aging) whisky obtained by this method and subjected to contact treatment with the charcoal. |
