PURPOSE:To enable monitoring of output of a laser diode at all times during laser irradiation by converting an output current from a photo diode for monitoring built-in a laser diode into voltage by a resistance, amplifying potential difference between both terminals of the resistance to digitize it, and digitization-indicating the result on a display tube. CONSTITUTION:A photo diode 16 built-in a laser diode 15 outputs a current proportional to a laser output of the laser diode 15. A potential of A point is decided by a resistance 17 and a variable resistance 18, and by this potential, a laser output stabilizing circuit 13 is put in feedback to stabilize the output of the laser diode 15. After potential difference between both terminals of the resistance 17 is amplified by a differential amplifier 19, it is digitized by an A/D converter 20, and the result is digitization-indicated on a display tube 21 through a control part 12. With this constitution, the output of the laser diode can be checked even during treatment. |
