The chamber of the metallurgical receptacle is connected to a fan (blower) (5) by a suction pipeline (2). An additional gas is introduced into the suction part of the fan (5), preferably through the use of the pipeline (2). The flow rate of introduction of the additional gas is adjusted so that the pressure of gas in the suction part of the fan (5) is kept at a fixed value, by virtue of a regulating valve (8) preferably placed on an additional pipe (7) connected to the suction pipe (2). A control means (10) makes it possible to adjust the opening and closing of the regulating valve (8) so as to keep the pressure of gas in the suction part of the fan (5) constant. <IMAGE> |
