PURPOSE:To provide a copolyester which is excellent in heat resistance and gas barrier properties and also in heat sealability and esp. suitable for film. CONSTITUTION:A dicarboxylic acid component contg. 10-30mol% diphenic acid or alkyl ester thereof and a diol component contg. 10-30mol% cyclohexanediol or cyclohexanedimethanol are reacted in the process for producing a copolyester mainly comprising tetramethylene terephthalate units. |
