PURPOSE:To provide a soft elastomer compsn. which comprises a polyurethane resin having a heretufore unobtainable low hardness, a high elongation, and an excellent durabiity. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. comprises a polyurethane resin obtd. by reacting an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer, obtd. by the reaction of a polyoxypropylene polyol having a functionality of 2.3-4.0 with a polyisocyanate compd., with a cross-linker comprising a polyol oligomer obtd. by the ring- opening polymn. of beta-methyl-delta-valerolactone, has a hardness of 60 or lower and an elongation of 400% or higher, and is usable as a vibrationproof material, a vibration-damping material, a shock-absrobing material, etc. |
