PURPOSE:To obtain a hair tonic, comprising extracts prepared by extracting Isodon japonica Hara, Leonurus sibiricus L., Leonurus macranthus Maxim., Perilla frutescens Britton var. acuta Kudo, Perilla frutescens Britton f. viridis Makino, Perilla frutescens Britton var. crispa Decaisne viridi-crispa Makino, Perilla Britton var. japonica Hara and Perilla frutescens Britton var. citriodora Ohwi with an aqueous solvent and having strong action on prevention of alopecia and trichogenic and hair growing action. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair tonic is obtained by extracting the whole herb of Isodon japonica Hara, the whole herb and seeds of Leonurus sibiricus L., the whole herb of Leonurus macranthus Maxim., the whole herb and seeds of Perilla frutescens Britton var. acuta Kudo, the whole herb of Perilla frutescens Britton f. viridis Makino, the whole herb and seeds of Perilla frutescens Britton var. crispa Decaisne viridi-crispa Makino, the whole herb of Perilla frutescens Britton var. japonica Hara and a leaf and a stem of Perilla frutescens Britton var. citriodora Ohwi with an aqueous solvent and including one or two or more of the resultant plant extracts. The plant extracts used herein may directly be blended in a state of the extract solutions in the hair tonic or the extract solutions may be dried and blended therein. When the plant extracts are blended as dried substances, the amount of the extracts is preferably about 0.01-5wt.% in the total amount of the hair tonic. The hair tonic may be any of the forms of a liquid, an emulsion, an ointment, etc., and can be used as a hair tonic, a hair liquid, a scalp treatment, a hair cream, a shampoo, etc. |
