<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for welding a resin molded piece which prevents deflection of connecting protrusion at welding with vibration and improve the welded state of the connected part. CONSTITUTION:A connecting protrusion 4 is formed in a resin upper case 1. At the base of the connecting protrusion 4, a tapered reinforcing part 5 is formed. In a resin lower case 2 which can coincide with the upper case 1, a connecting stepped part 3 is formed at a place corresponding to the connecting protrusion 4. The upper case 1 and the lower case 2 are butted so as to bring the connecting protrusion 4 and the connecting stepped part 3 into contact with each other and vibrate horizontally in a state that pressure is exerted on the contact face. Then, the connecting protrusion 4 and the connecting stepped part 3 rub each other so as to generate frictional heat by which the tip of the connecting protrusion 4 is melted and welded. As the tip of the connecting protrusion 4 is reinforced by the reinforcing part 5 so as to improve its rigidity, deformation of the connecting protrusion 4 is prevented regardless of direction of the vibration to be given, so that the welded state of the upper case 1 and the lower case 2 can be improved.</p> |
