PURPOSE:To form an alloy clad layer with high corrosion resistance by coating a film containing a granular Cr, Ni, and Fe-Mo at the specific ratio on the surface of base metal of carbon steel, etc., and melting them with laser beam irradiation. CONSTITUTION:The compound having a composition consisting of the fine particle 2a of Cr metal, fine particle 2b of Ni metal, and fine particle 2c of Fe--Mo metal, by weight, 25-30% Cr, 25-30% Ni, 3-4% Mo and the balance Fe is mixed and kneaded with the binder of organic solute excellent in heat resistance, the compound, as in a film to be fired of approximate 500mum of thickness, is coated on the surface of base metal of carbon steel, etc., and dried. Subsequently the film 2 to be fired is irradiated with the laser beam L moving to the arrow mark direction, heated and melted, removing the binder by evaporating and decomposing, to form the molten pond of Fe-Cr-Ni-Mo alloy, the boundary part in contact with the carbon steel base metal 1 makes the alloy molten body and base metal 1 diffuse reciprocally to form the alloy clad-layer 3 with excellent adhesion to the base metal 1. |
