PURPOSE:To operate a refrigerating machine without using a dryer by using refrigerant containing a predetermined or higher saturated water concentration therein in a low temperature and low pressure state on the downstream side of expanding means as refrigerant, using mixture of lubricant of a compressor in the refrigerant, and circulating the refrigerant and the lubricant. CONSTITUTION:Since refrigerant is lowered to about 0 deg.C after it passes expanding means 5, precipitated water content is, if water content is precipitated from the refrigerant, apprehended to be iced. The means 5 is set in a throttling diameter to a small value in order to expand the refrigerant under reduced pressure, and hence the throttle of the means 5 might be clogged due to freeze. Then, chloro fluorocarbon HFC 134a is used as the refrigerant, and its vapor phase saturated water concentration is set to 350ppm or more even in a low temperature state. Since balanced water concentration of the refrigerant during normal operation is about 350ppm in gas state refrigerant of a down stream of the means, water is not precipitated even when it is passed through the means. Thus, a malfunction due to freeze of the water does not occur. |
