PURPOSE:To provide a measuring material which can measure and evaluate the uniformity of magnetic field simply. CONSTITUTION:A temp. indicating substance 12 with the color changing at a specific temp. is included in a translucent parent material 10, which contains a significant amount of a magnetic resonant substance or substances. such as gelatin in which water solely or together with fat is included, and the resultant is solidified in a phantom form. The color of this temp. indicating substance 12 changes in a place which is in magnetic resonance associate with the temp. rise in the parent material 10, for example caused by resonant absorption of H nucleus of water. With heat emission caused by absorption of the electromagnetic energy associate with magnetic resonance, the resonant place can be shown simply by color change of the temp. indicating substance 12, and accordingly the uniformity of the magnetic field in a space can be determined very simply by putting this magnetic field measuring material 3A in the phantom form in a place whose uniformity of magnetic field is to be examined and irradiating the place with electromagnetic waves. |
