PURPOSE:To substantially improve displaying speed by providing a display controller for modifying only the changed part in an information screen displayed by an LCD. CONSTITUTION:This controller provides an operating means operated by users for setting an operating mode of a copying machine, a display device LCD 202 displaying the information screen in the operation mode of the copying machine set by the operating means and the display controller 104 changing only the altered part in the information screen displayed by the LCD 202 when the operating means is operated by users. While whole data within the screen displayed on the LCD 202 are changed over at the time of setting the operation mode of the copying machine by users conventionally, the quantity of data treated with the LCD 202 is reduced by changing only the screen data of the modified part in the displayed screen. Consequently, although reaction speed of the LCD 202 remains unchanged, the displaying speed of the screen is substantially improved. |
