PURPOSE:To eliminate angle fluctuation due to offset voltage or vibration, etc., of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:It is judged whether a vehicle is traveling or at halt according to pulses which are output from a vehicle speed sensor 4, angular velocity signals at halt are averaged by an offset calculation part 6 to calculate the offset value, the offset value is canceled according to the angular velocity signal during traveling and then a true angular velocity signal is calculated by an angular velocity calculation part 7. Only when the true angular velocity signal exceeds a threshold level which is set considering vibration and rotary angle is calculated using the angular velocity signal and angle fluctuation due to the offset voltage at halt and vibration, etc., of vehicle are eliminated, thus reducing an unneeded angular velocity. |
